how to make crayons... with Aly and Lili...

I used to do this all the time when I was a nanny. I became a Mom and forgot all about it!!! Then I saw this on another blog and decided to go for it as we had an over abundance of broken crayons. So, without further ado...

How to Make Crayons...with Aly and Lili

Okay, so I forgot to get pictures of taking all of the paper off of the crayons. Suffice it to say it was a MESS of the first order!! Gotta love it :-)

Ready to start filling the tins
Excuse me...did you just say Modify????
All ready to go into the oven...
Lili vacuums up the floor while we wait for them to melt. She is my little floor helper!
Just out of the oven...now they need to cool!

The Big Reveal!!

Yes, they really work, but my girls prefer to use them as blocks instead of crayons.
Go figure!!!
I keep finding them in tall stacks all over the living room.
Have a great week!!!

That looks like fun. We need to get one of those little vacuums for Mary Joyce to use. She tries to use the big one, but it just doesn't work well. Love the "modify" video, too!

Very cool! I love this idea!! Can I send my broken crayons to you for 'prep'? Actually, while you have them why not let your girls have more fun w/ them and make them. I'll pay postage both ways :)
Think of some more cool stuff super Nanny!

Modify. THat is hilarious. You say the EXACT same things I do..."Don't run over the paper again. Or do."
